*This week was a freebie week for Top Ten Tuesday.  I couldn't come up with an idea so I shamefully copied Tara from Taming the Bookshelf.

Top Ten Book Covers That I Would Redesign

1.)  Vampire Academy series by Richelle Mead.  These have got to be the most cheesy covers that have ever been placed on awesome books (supposedly, as I haven't read them yet).

2.)  Passion by Lauren Kate.  I seriously wonder what the hell the publisher was thinking with this cover.The other 4 books have gorgeous covers.  This one is just weird.  It's too cartoony, the girl is hideous, and the color scheme is just all off.

3.)  Evernight series by Claudia Gray - This whole series has covers that are just so blah.  They is nothing bout them that says "This looks like it might be an interesting book."

4.) Perfect Chemistry series by Simone Elkeles - Cheesy romancey type covers.  Very embrassing to read in public.  The series is amazing though!

5.)  Nightshade series by Andrea Cremer - The first hardcover edition is insanely beautiful.  The original hardcover of Wolfsbane was even more attractive before they changed it.  The new covers just look like really bad PNR fiction.

6.)  Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins - Cute book, bad cover.  Too cutesy and I don't like how you can see Anna's face but not St. Clair's.

7.)  Forgive My Fins series by Tera Lynn Childs - I love the color schemes on these, but the actual pictures are just kinda creepy to my.  Like the Need series by Carrie Jones.

8.)  The Hunger Games series by Suzanne Collins - Again, boring covers.  Purely AMAZING books.

9.)  Forbidden by Tabitha Suzuma - The cover is blah with just the title and a barbed wire heart.  It looks like it should be the cover of a self pubbed book.  But once you get past that cover, WOW!  My favorite book of 2011.

10.)  Return to Paradise by Simone Elkeles - I hate pictures of people kissing on book covers.  Especially pictures of people kissing UP CLOSE on book covers.  Ew.
